Great location, welcoming staff, calm environment, well-maintained rooms, excellent breakfast.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

- nice old-fashioned hotel (but not neglected or dirty) - good bed - nice room (spacious) - very helpful staff - parking was included (staff even offers to park your car) - good breakfast
- no elevator (this was no problem, because in Ouro Preto you need to walk the steep cobble streets as well)

Excellent pousada in convenient location. Tastefully designed, with beautiful murals on the ceilings, colorful trim work, stone details, and deep hardwoods throughout. Simple, but comfortable and sturdy furnishings. The room and bathroom were very clean. Staff did not speak any English, but were comfortable communicating with a non-Portuguese speaker and were very patient with me and helpful. Breakfast was in a lovely skylit room and was tasty, with a wide range of options.

the breakfast was enjoyable, offering various pastries and freshly squeezed juice. the hotel had a great location near shops and landmarks that were easy to reach by foot. I loved the cozy atmosphere that the hotel provided in the lobby area.
The room was quite disappointing. the bed was hard and uncomfortable to sleep on, and the bathroom was not very clean.

We arrived at night and found a very hospitable welcome. As soon as one sees the entry to the pousada and enters the lobby, there is a feeling that all expectations will be met. We were not disappointed ... the room was fantastic, and the dining area, food, and service were perfect. The pousada is one of the best travel experiences that we have had.

Pousada Lacos de Minos is a nice small Pousada with very bright rooms. The location is perfect close to the center of Ouro Petro, so easy to walk to all the sight in town. The breakfast is also lovely and very well prepared.
The receptionist is not always available and it is difficult to communicate with the rest of the staff.

My Easter stay was wonderful! The breakfast had a great variety of fruits, and I especially loved the fresh and tasty cheese. The hotel’s location is perfect, just a short walk from to the main square. Another great aspect was the afternoon tea and cake. It was a nice surprise and helped satisfy my sweet tooth.
The bathroom amenities were not so great. There was only one type of soap available in a small and unpleasant scent.

We also appreciated the great breakfast and the afternoon tea and cake. Additionally, the room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful rustic design.

The hotel is located conveniently near the city center, which is perfect for exploring the town. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with charming details such as rustic wood furniture and French balconies. the staff is friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for restaurants and assisting with parking. Breakfast options are delicious, with fresh juice, home-baked bread, local cheeses and jams, and eggs. the afternoon tea session is a delightful touch, featuring homemade cakes, jams, and cachaça spirit.
The hotel's parking situation could be better, as it is located a distance away and the streets are narrow, making it challenging to temporarily park the car to check-in.
